DC Comics came out with Rebirth today. I came out with a new Jesus 2016 page that is set in DC, and titled “After rebirth”. Coincidence?
Actually, yes. I was originally going to call this page “Afterbirth” but then I thought “After rebirth” would be more apt, considering that Jesus has essentially been born again in a fashion and it fits in a religious sense. It was only after I read the comics news and learned that DC Comics was launching Rebirth today that I just had to laugh at the coincidence. I haven't read a DC comic book since the New 52 several years ago and haven't really kept up with what DC Comics is doing since jumping ship. This page has been planned out during the first few weeks I launched the strip. That it dropped on the same day as Rebirth is just one of those funny little coincidences.
